HOW WE'RE WORKING TO PROVIDE A SAFE & HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT

FOR YOU AND OUR STAFF AT THE GAFF


We are following all guidance provided from the CDC, State of Massachusetts and

Waltham Board of Health. ​Here's what you can expect: 


SOCIAL DISTANCING

All tables are spaced 6 feet apart.


In order to maintain a one way traffic flow, we ask that you enter one at a time to use the restrooms. Once the person before you leaves the building then you can enter. 


CLEANLINESS & SANITATION

​We are cleaning commonly touched surfaces in the restroom (e.g., flusher, sink handles, soap pump, door knobs) and heavy transit areas (e.g., door knobs and door touch points, handrails) frequently as directed by the Waltham Board of Health. 


Hand sanitizer is available in multiple locations for your use, as well as the staff. Our staff are wearing gloves when clearing your table. Gloves are changed in between each table interaction. Because gloves and drinks are super slippy, hand sanitizer is being used rather than gloves when making and delivering drinks & food. 


The bar as a whole is also undergoing daily deep cleaning and sanitation by the staff and cleaning service using EPA-registered disinfectant.  


Our food & drink menu is available online. A QR code, scannable with your phone camera, is provided at each table to easily take you to our current offerings. We also have a limited number of disposable menus available upon request.


All food is served in disposable single use trays

with wrapped, disposable cutlery and condiments. 


Tables and chairs are cleaned with EPA-registered sanitizer in

between each seating. Your check  will be presented in a sanitized tray and,

along with the pen, is sanitized after each use. 


FACE MASKS

All staff are provided with face masks and all guests are required to wear a face covering anytime they are not seated at a table. Please ask if you need a face mask. 


STAFF WELLNESS

We are assuring daily that our staff is not displaying any symptoms as well as providing compensation if they are unable to work due to Covid symptoms or diagnosis. 


WHAT WE ASK FROM YOU


Please understand that under current MA state guidelines, we are only allowed to seat a maximum of 6 guests per table. Further, the State requires that all guests be seated, not standing, and dining. We are not able to serve drinks only at this time. 


Due to our limited seating capacity, we may implement time limits on tables during busy times as well as reserve larger tables for diners of 3 or more. 


We are also restricted to service dogs only in our outdoor dining area and smoking is prohibited. If you wish to smoke, you will need to do so elsewhere on the street

and not next to table barriers.


Lastly, please extend patience to our amazing staff. They are traveling farther for everything they bring to you. Additionally, due to social distancing and cleanliness protocols, everything simply requires a few more steps and that means it takes a little longer.
